Information technology is always changing within a business, so of course you will need a machine that can keep up with the changes. The HP LaserJet 8000n printer using HP LaserJet 8000n toner can meet most every day office requirement efficiently and quickly. The information below will talk about the product specifications for this machine and how it can meet the needs of the office on a daily basis.

With a 133 MHz processor and only a 16 MB internal memory, the 8000n does not seem up to par, but with these specs it is seems to be able to hold its own in the market. It has an output of twenty-four pages of printed material per minute. It has been built to last and is quite durable as it can put out 130,000 pages per month.

As the face of business changes, so does the stationary that it uses on a daily basis. It seems that HP had this in mind while designing the 8000n printer as it is able to handle letter, legal, executive and tabloid paper styles. Even printing on standard and monarch envelopes has been made easy with this machine. There are also customizable settings that allow you to print any media from 3.9″ x 7.5″ to 11.7″ x 17.7″. It is an excellent business package as it also has staples and other collation options.

This kind of printer is not intended for home office use since it is rather large and pretty heavy. It measures in at 21″ x 21″ x 21″ and weighs 99 pounds. To use space efficiently and to still allow for easy access, positioning the printer on a low filing cabinet or a low table in a fairly open area.

The main function of this printer is for it to be used as a network printer. It contains a 10/100 BaseTX Ethernet Print Server internal system that is its source for main connectivity. After it is hardwired to the router and mapped properly, any computer within the office with permission will be able to use all of the printers services. If you want to connect only one system to the printer, it has a backup IEEE 1284 bidirectional parallel port.

When you go to purchase the 8000n printer, you will not be receiving just the printer alone. You will also receive all of the necessary power cables, a free toner cartridge, installation drivers, the HP Network Printer Wizard and Web JetAdmin software bundle. Also included is the User’s Guide that will help you use and maintain your printer. Accessories such as extra paper trays are available at your request.

When considering this type of business class type of printer, you will see that most of them will carry a hefty price tag, but the 8000n seems to be an exception. You can find this printer at $1,800 at many stores, however, for many smaller businesses this may still be a little steep. If you are willing to go with a refurbished model, then you can find this kind at or below $325. All the parts are easily found at prices that are still reasonable as this kind of printer has been an established machine. This allows for low operating costs.

Out in the market, there may be newer, faster, and even cheaper printers that exist, but if you look at what this HP printer offers and the performance of the HP LaserJet 8000n toner, you will see the benefits.  HP toner always perform and utilizing this toner in this machine seems to guarantee professionalism on every level.
