Brother HL 1650 – Amazing Quality At A Fair Price

The Brother HL-1650 provides advanced features not found in many competitors to the small businessman at an affordable price. The HL-1650 uses the Brother HL 1650 Toner and provides printing speeds at up to 16 pages per minute of monochrome printing. An automatic duplexer allows pages to be printed on both sides automatically.

The HL-1650 is provided with both parallel and USB ports for connection to a computer or network. The Quick Print utility can be placed either in the system tray or in its own window on the computer. Driver Properties include the addition of watermarks to the page printed. For graphics reproduction, there is a manual control for brightness and contrast.

The printing quality is user adjustable. The lowest print quality is 300 dpi. Ht highest print quality is 1,200 dpi. The ability to adjust the print quality is invaluable when creating drafts for departmental review when a high quality document is not required. Even at the 300 dpi setting documents are printed at a quality that is while not exceptional provide a good quality document. The output rate of the printer is determined by several factors. These factors include, whether the USB or parallel port is selected for data input, print quality setting and the amount of graphics that are included in the document.

The automatic duplexer provides worry free duplex printing. The automatic duplexer provides a variety of options including six different alignment settings. Should the user choose to stand over the machine and supervise the printing, there is a manual setting for duplex printing on the printer.

The Brother HL-1650 provides a viable option for the small business or small business workgroup.
