Bikini’s have been very popular on the beaches the past few years. A new introduction has been of a mini-skirt which replaces the traditional bottom. These suits are readily apparent in television pictures of the beach, magazines and other places. It is easy to see which ones add to and which ones detract from a woman’s over-all appearance. For this reason it is important to choose one of the models that are especially designed for specific body shapes.
Designers who work with bathing suits must be conscious of not only what will be attractive but what will adapt to the many different shapes that will be wearing them. They must be able to allow for the swimmer’s movements as well as being in attractive colors and designs. Being apple to apply these requirements is what makes a good bathing suit.
The Betsy Johnson line of clothing originated in 1978 and immediately took the fashion world by storm. It’s obvious care-free spirit was apparent from the start and was enhanced by its ‘punk fashion’ label. The designer became very well known in the fashion field for originality and extraordinary designs that had not been seen before, especially in swimwear.
