At Los Angeles BMW, your favorite Beamer is just waiting to be brought home today. In 1917, a little known company known as the Bavarian Motor Works was created. From its unique creation of airplane engines, it has stemmed into a producer of fine luxury motorcycles and expensive cars for the whole world.
Created Vehicles
BMW has created a plethora of vehicles, ranging from the one and only roadster to plenty of mid sized sedans, to all wheel drive SUVs. The one and only z series is a special breed of BMW not to be taken lightly by the look of it alone. What resembles a small two-seater at first glance will leave you breathless and speechless after a test drive around the block or on the freeway.
Z Series
The Z series comes standard with a retractable hard top, much like the Mercedes SLK. All are exclusive six cylinders with an offering of a 7-speed double clutch gearbox or six-speed auto transmission. All new z series also come with a newly redesigned interior and exterior than previous models. They also offer a double roll bar behind both seats and a new windscreen, both of these options are standard.
Other Series
The 1-7 series sedans all offer different options for everyone. Each numbered edition has its pluses and minuses, it all just depends on how much you are willing to spend for your next luxury edition sedan. The 1 series is the easiest to acquire due to its affordability. The flagship of BMW being the 7 series is probably the hardest to own due to cost. Again, it all depends on how much you are willing to spend.
Most Sold
The 3 series is by far the most sold of all BMWs. Out of all BMWs sold, it holds one fifth of all sales. It is also one of the lower end models of the BMW series. The 3 series is also the most customizable, offering sedans, station wagons, coupes and convertibles. The 3 series is by far the best selling entry-level luxury car in the United States and Canada.
Standard Options
The 7 series is by far the best of all the numbered series in that it comes with so many standard options. Although the most expensive in the line of BMWs, it is well worth all the bells and whistles that come standard on it. Also offered in the seven series is the hybrid edition with electric engine or diesel offerings. The hybrid is very interesting in that it comes with solar panels attached to the roof rack.
Different Upgrades
The 5 series is an interesting go between of the 7 and 3 series. It offers many different upgrades and more horse power compared to that of the 1 series but isn’t as costly as the 7 series. If you are looking for something sporty and in between these two, the 5 series is exactly what you are looking for.
BMW Introduction
If you are looking into an introduction to BMW as a first time owner and have to have a BMW, the 1 series may be just what Bavarian Motor Works prescribes. With the same look and demeanor of a BMW but far less, the 1 series could be the perfect addition to your garage or driveway. This is the entry-level car you have been looking for.
X Series
Next up is the X series model. These are all along the lines of SUV type cars and are amazing drives. The x3 model is very efficient and economical as far as mpg and cost go. It is a mid sized off-roader and features all wheel drive all the time. This specific model is also produced in North America.
Production Country
After the x3 comes the x5, a newer SUV produced both in North America, and also Mexico. This model also offers the same all wheel drive of the x3 and is a bit more expensive but available with more add-ons. The x5-m is capable of 0-62 in 4.7 seconds flat according to Car and Driver and has received great reviews accordingly.
Available Production
Last but certainly not least is the 6 series, which is no longer in production but still available to be found previously owned. It was designed in Autumn 2003, and has often been said to look like a shark. This series is the second most expensive offering from BMW only trailing the 7 series. Production ended in mid 2010.
