Samsung SCX 4216D3 Printer Cartridge – The Perfect Replacement

March 3, 2010 by erin · Leave a Comment

I am a college student and I own a Samsung SCX-4016 printer. On most days, I print out countless pages for the necessary papers I need to submit. It is only practical for me to have my own printer for convenience and efficiency. At times  though, unexpected things happen. I have experienced running out of toner and failing to find the specific cartridge at the same time. On those incidents, I discovered compatibility of different cartridges to various printers. Every time I get into situations like that, I would choose The Samsung SCX 4216D3 printer cartridge as replacement.

This toner cartridge is designed to provide sharp and crisp printouts. Its smooth output on paper is proof that it is well made and high in quality. It is evident on the many papers I’ve printed out. I appreciate that the print quality is consistent. I noticed very little difference between the first and last page I print.

The toner cartridge only comes in black which is specific for laser printers like mine. It weighs about 2.3 lbs, which is not surprising considering it has the dimensions of 12.9 x 6.6 x 4.6 in. The Samsung printer cartridge packs a lot of power as it can print up to 3,000 monochrome pages. The other printers it is compatible with are the Samsung SCX-4116, SF-560, SF-750, SCX-755P, SCX-4216F and SCX-565P.

There are cases of fake printer cartridges nowadays, which is not the same as generic toner. Instead of getting a high-quality product, you end up with a cheap imitation. I can only imagine the frustration of paying for something like that. This also won’t bode well with your work. Avoid being a victim by shopping at reputable dealers.

Should you choose to purchase Samsung toner, they have a security label.  The security label is distinct in that it changes color. At first glance, you will notice that the label changes from clear to cyan. When you look closer, you will see embossed characters that also change color. The color change is between gold, blue and red which are evident in varying angles. You can feel the texture of the embossed characters for final verification.

Now, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to change the cartridge. I’ve done this many times with no accidents whatsoever. First is to remove the toner cartridge from the pack. Roll the cartridge gently but thoroughly for maximum copies. You can then open the printer’s front cabinet to remove the old cartridge. Slide the new cartridge in until it’s locked in place. You can then close the front cabinet. The printer should be good to go.

It is important to remember not to throw the old printer cartridge away. This actually applies to all cartridges. Currently, Samsung is helping to make the earth greener by recycling their cartridges. All you need to do is pack-up your used cartridges and mail it back to them.

There is rarely any problem when it comes to Samsung SCX 4216D3 toner.  Many local and online retailers carry Samsung toner.  Quality toner is available and can be found with just a little care.
