The HP Color LaserJet CP2025n Printer Toner Provides Incredible Quality When Printing Documents Or Photos

New this season in color laser printers is the HP Color LaserJet CP2025n printer using HP Color LaserJet CP2025n toner. This is one of the current machine offered by Hewlett Packard. It is a nice cuboid outline with rounded corners. It is light too, at a nifty 50 pounds that will not break your back or the desk! If you have a small office, with small office needs, then you will appreciate the smaller footprint.

Hewlett Packard, a company well and truly associated with high quality printers, cannot disappoint in its new range. You can expect top quality from all of their output. They are, after all, thought to be one of the biggest companies around these days. For small or medium sized businesses, or even for your own study at home, this is a good buy.  Based on other factors, it might not be as productive for a larger office churning out thousands of pages a day.

At $400 – $600, there is quite a variety of standards, but this one is thought to be near the top end. There is 128 MB of memory pre-installed into this machine. This can be upgraded to 384 MB quite easily by techno-savvy users. Or for those of us not so inclined, by HP themselves. The more printer memory the better, in fact, the more memory in everything, the better!

Almost all users will be happy with the operating systems supported. Windows XP is supported and Mac OS, of course, but also Linux. There are two types of USB ports for easier connectivity to almost anything. USB 1.0 and USB 2.0 are available. Serial ports and parallel ports used to come as standard with HP printers, but these have now been phased out.

From the HP literature you will get an assumed 21 ppm. This almost always refers to light textual material which is graphic light. For real-world printing, an impressive 17 pages per minute is achievable. Quite fast for a printer in this range. For pictures, expect around 4 pages per minute. This is also fast

But what is the actual printing quality like? This is, after all, what you have bought a printer for. Well, actually, print quality compares very favorably with others in this range. Black and white output is good. Black images and texts are good and sharp with well defined outlined. Only the grayscale has room for improvement. Many multi-cartridge printers fall down when a grayscale image is printed.

For paper input, manual input and automatic input are both available vie a 250 sheet input tray. This can hold different paper sizes. The output tray can hold 150 pages. The paper trays are OK, but a bit clunky and cheap. They can be a bit wobbly and over time, may warp with use.

This HP is a good printer, providing excellent value for money and good printing quality. When HP Color LaserJet CP2025n toner cartridges run out, obtaining quality HP toner can be obtained quite cheaply too, which means that a page can be printed for around 4 cents per sheet when ordering replacement toner online. This printer is to be recommended taking into account the caveats mentioned.
