Another unique aspect of the Kyocera is that it employs a company proprietary memory system it calls EcoMemory, which allows the printer to compress memory in such a way that effective memory is increased appreciably. Because of its design, useful life is probably a full order of magnitude longer than other printers it competes against.
The Kyocera FS-1700 Plus printer works equally as well as a small office printer or a small network printer, and with its extremely long duty cycle, it delivers a far lower cost-per-page ratio than any other printer in its class.
