Have you been going on vacations that just don’t seem very exciting? One of the most effective ways to take a boring vacation and turn it upside down is to get out of the country, and Canada, as one of our closest neighbors, is a great option. The lack of traveling time and it’s ease to travel to make it a perfect place for a last minute vacation. The only thing you need to get into Canada is a passport or a passport card, depending on how you get there. These items are easily found at an online US passport agency.

You no longer need to deal with the frustrations of typical passport wait times when you buy them online. All sorts of services, like pasport emergency renewal and quick expediting, are taken care of by these sites, effectively taking the weight off of your shoulders.

Just off the coast of Canada in the Atlantic Ocean is Prince Edward Island. This island has an incredibly rich maritime history, and this sort of laid-back feel make it the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Lighthouses, windmills, and the most unbelievably beautiful landscapes are always within reach for you and your family to see. Even just a ride in the car presents the opportunity to see some of these beautiful landscapes. Three famous coastal roads take you along the scenic shores of the island.

Tons of scenic trails snake through the landscapes of Prince Edward Island, and these create a low-key and natural way to see the island. Biking or simply just walking are both excellent ways to explore the island and its trails, and you will no doubt see some of the landscapes that are bursting with natural beauty. Confederation Trail is one of these trails, weaving through quaint villages, miles of farmland, and gorgeous natural scenery. Heritage Roads are simply trails that bring you through the more historic parts of towns.

Prince Edward Island National Park is a place where natural, cultural, and historical themes tie together. High rocky cliffs, towering sand dunes, bright forests, and colorful wetlands house a unique variety of plants and animals, a few of which are quite rare. This type of coastal habitat is very different from some people’s idea of paradise, but it holds its own category all together. Archeological evidence dating back to 10,000 years ago has been found on this island, and the Aboriginal culture is still very much alive in this part of the island. Green Gables, the very site and setting for L. M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables is located in the park as well.

Deciding where to go for a relaxing vacation can be tricky. Going somewhere crowded with tourists is the exact opposite of relaxing. However, Prince Edward Island, along with many other parts of Canada, are the opposite of this. And with your family and your passports in tow, you can explore it all on your own time. Visiting an online United States passport office makes getting a United States passport emergency renewal much less stressful, along with a variety of other services. Heading to a place like Prince Edward Island, where the sights are plenty and tons of experiences are just waiting to be had, promises you and your family a great time.
