Thanks to free VoIP platforms, like Skype and Google, friends and family can talk to each other at anytime, anywhere there is an internet connection. There is no longer a need to worry about long-distance fees or roaming charges. Parents and kids can stay connected whether they’re at summer camp for a few weeks or college hundreds of miles away.

VoIP plans are so inexpensive, usually much lower than a regular phone line. VoIP also takes two separate service plans – internet and telephone – and combines them into one package.

Businesses are taking advantage of the perks of VoIP as well. A VoIP billing system helps businesses send and receive bills, invoices, and notices without having to physically sort through paper mail. Instead of using the mail service, businesses are relying on email and electronic billing to get the job done.
