Ancient frescoes and strange terraced gardens provide a glimpse into a culture belonging to some of our earliest ancestors.

Socotra is a chain of four islands found in the Indian Ocean. Isolation from the mainland for such a long time has permitted the evolution of unique animal and plant inhabitants. One third of over 800 species of flowers found there can be found nowhere else on earth. An unusual and unique site on these islands is characterized by a dragon’s blood tree.
