The Xerox 4510 Printer is a black-and-white laser type of printer that’s suitable for a busy office environment. Connectivity options allow for use with a single computer or within a large workgroup with up to 25 users. It boasts of features that can handle both day-to-day and specialized printing tasks. Within it is a fast processor that runs at 533MHz. This allows the machine to provide as many as 45 black-and-white pages every minute. In fact, the duty cycle is set by the manufacturer at 250000 pages every month.

Other capabilities include printing of posters, booklets, watermarks, negative image and mirror image. Xerox understands that time is precious. That’s why it has thrown in the Load While Run feature which lets you restock media without interrupting the printer’s performance.

A variety of device management utilities can be found on the 4510 black-and-white laser printer. The CentreWare Internet Services Embedded Web Server allows for online troubleshooting and ordering of supplies. The PrintingScout comes in handy when the machine is connected to a workgroup. It lets you have in-depth printer usage and job status so printing cost can be effectively managed.

Upon purchase, a standard 128MB RAM comes with it. However, it may be upgraded to as much as 512MB to have more storage space for large-sized printing tasks. Languages included are Adobe PostScript 3, PCL 5e and PCL 6. Available typefaces are 139 Adobe PostScript fonts and 81 PCL fonts. Control panel located on the top boasts of large buttons and an LCD screen for hassle-free operation.

The Xerox 4510 Printer has a compact form factor that measures 16.6 inches x 18.3 inches x 15.9 inches (L x W x H). It tips the scale at a little over 45 pounds. Fast and capable of doing specialized printing tasks, it can meet the output requirements of a busy office and produces superior copies when Xerox toner is used.
